Misc:
-The classic Stephen King mini-series IT is being remade with a theatrical release in mind. Why is Hollywood remaking everything they can, while other countries are making bold new horror films that actually further the genre? Set mostly in present day, it looks like the movie will get rid of the best part of the original story... the kids. I'm REALLY undecided on this one...
-Another hottie join the cast of HBO's awesome vamp show True Blood. Valeri Cruz, you can now feel free to get naked too :) I can't wait for Season 2 coming this June.
-Rumors of Jackie Earle Haley in talks to play Freddie in the upcoming Nightmare on Elm Street remake... If this is true, I may just be pleased. After his amazing return to movies in Little Children, and his equally amazing portrayal of Rorschach in The Watchmen, this may be a really good move for the remake that I wish wasn't happening...
-Pascal Laugier, director of the insanely good/disturbing Martyrs, has turned in the first draft of his Hellraiser remake script. This is another remake I don't really want, but after seeing Laugier's work on Martyrs, I have faith in the guy.
