This 1986 episode of Tales From the Darkside is still creepy as hell today. The whole thing just feels wrong; two jerk-off parents decide to mess with their kids on Christmas Eve by telling them a story about a man eating creature called The Grither....
... If you say his name out loud, he will come and find you, and kill you in horrible ways. Apparently, he doesn't like his name being said because he's private? Anyways, the kids are scared shitless, and it gets worse when the parents sing a song about The Grither.
It doesn't end well at all for any of them. What a horrible story for Christmas time... check the vids out for yourself.
