A book containing 21 stories of the Cenobytes and the Hellraiser world has been released, and was just too interesting not to mention, especially this month.
I love Hellraiser; the mythos, the characters, the story... Clive Barker is genius, plain and simple. The first two movies in the series are horror staples, the next two are either loved or reviled in horror circles, and the rest are straight to DVD releases that are hardly staples (I'll be reviewing them all this month), but all of them at least give us different glimpses of Pinhead and his crew, and of course, the box.
Now, a gaggle of writers has come together to give us 21 new glimpses of them, scriptures from the depths of the abyss itself, and I for one am dying to see what sights they have to show me.
