Ghey NFL Player’s Victim Says Attack Was ‘Violent’

Cincinnati Bengals running back Cedric Benson was arrested last weekend and charged with the misdemeanor assault on his former roommate. The roommate, Clavens ‘Miami’ Charles, accused Benson of roughing him up on an Austin, Texas, street corner at 5 a.m. Sunday.
According to police, Benson approached Charles on the corner, and after a brief argument, Benson began throwing round house punches and pummeling Charles about the face and neck.
The police report mentioned that the fight started after Benson told Charles they“needed to talk about their problems.”
Thomas Crosley, Charles’ attorney, released a statement to CBSSports.com and other media. The statement said Benson’s attorneys contacted them about a settlement — presumably to preserve what is left of Benson’s reputation as a manly man.
After Charles’ attorney released the statement to the media, Benson’s attorneys leveled accusations of extortion against Charles.
Benson’s lawyer, Sam Bassett, released a statement Sunday stating that “The two had difficulties resulting from Mr. Benson asking the former male roommate to leave his home a few days prior to this incident.”
Please note: Any talk of Benson’s sexual orientation is pure speculation (since he hasn’t officially come out of the closet yet).

Photog’s “S&M” Copyright Suit

MTV Snubs Rihanna; Judge OK’s

If Rihanna didn’t have bad luck, she would have no luck at all.
A Manhattan judge yesterday greenlighted famed photog David LaChapelle’s multi-million dollar copyright suit against the troubled songstress.
According to the NY Post’s Page Six:
In a ruling released yesterday, Manhattan federal Judge Shira Scheindlin said the surrealist shutterbug “successfully alleges” that the songstress, her record label and video director may have copied his provocative images for Rihanna’s “S&M” video.
Scheindlin cited the “hot-pink and white striped walls,” “women wearing frizzy red wigs” and “black tape wrapped around a man.”Source
And yesterday, MTV delivered yet another blow to the 23-year-old pop star when the network released its nominations for the 2011 MTV VMA Awards. Rihanna received only two nominations for guest appearances on Kanye West’s “All Of The Lights” and Eminem’s “Love The Way You Lie.”

MTV ignored her hits “Only Girl In The World,” “What’s My Name,” “S&M,” “California King Bed,” and “Man Down.”
They say Rihanna’s unrealistic demands and Diva-like behavior is what led MTV to deliver the ultimate snub!
We believe it. We told you that her record label held a top secret meeting earlier this year to discuss their temperamental superstar.
The meeting ended with everyone in the room concluding there was nothing they could do to rescue her public image since Rihanna would only end up trashing it again.
Her stank attitude has even turned off other celebrities. “She wasn’t the nicest,”said Ciara after bumping into Ri Ri at a recent party.
We wish we could say we feel sorry for Rihanna but her narcissistic ways were bound to catch up to her.
We told you months ago that Rihanna’s notorious personality problems caused one NBA star to sprint in the other direction. Her unpredictable narcissistic rages, childish antics and ice cold demeanor have put off many potential lovers.
Expect Rihanna to hire a PR firm in the near future to help repair her damaged image in the industry. Good luck to the firm that accepts the gig!
