Priyanka Chopra Shahrukh Khan in Ra.One
We have heard almost every Bollywood star being linked up in some controversial affair or the other. This time it is none other than King Khan himself! However, the undisputed king of Bollywood is not amused with the allegations of an affair between him andPriyanka Chopra that is being suggested by the media.
Every actor in tinsel town has always been under the scrutiny of the press and even the remotest action on the part of the actor spreads like wildfire. We have heard about plenty of link-ups, break-ups and fall-outs between stars and this time round, it is an alleged closeness between Shahrukh Khan and the dazzling Priyanka Chopra.
If rumours are to be believed, the two have been seen together quite often. Priyanka was first seen close-up with King Khan, cheering for his team, the Kolkata Knight Riders at IPL4. Post the IPL; the two were spotted together on several occasions, attending different events, many a time walking hand in hand. PC even admitted that she had a huge crush on SRK.
The two however ignored all the rumours that were arising, but these rumours simply began to grow out of proportion until SRK put down his foot and brushed off all silly allegations that were coming out of fictitious minds. He said that he had no inkling to where such news took birth.
One thing that is worth stating is Priyanka’s short cameo in Shahrukh’s ambitious project, Ra One. Apparently, PC was not seen at the music launch of the film, which led the media to make further assumptions. So finally, when one of the reporters asked about her absence from the launch, SRK was not in the least amused by the question. He retorted starkly, “Actually it was I who told them (Priyanka Chopra and Sanjay Dutt) not to come, as your nonsensical questions would only put someone in a spot.”
So what is the King Khan really trying to prove? Is he trying to conceal the truths of a whispered affair or is he plainly avoiding PC for now?
