 Pop Icon Lady GaGa searched her closet for her Sunday best to wear to her interview on ‘The View’ today. Lady GaGa was dressed in Houndstooth from head to toe, literally. Every surface of her body was adorned in the familiar black and white checked pattern — including her fingernails and sun shades!

Producer: Rihanna finished recording her next album

According to one of Rihanna’s music producers, the troubled singer just finished wrapping up her next album.

Still riding high off the success of her platinum album, LOUD, Rihanna is now doing post-production work on the album during her visit home in Barbados.

Verse Simmonds and his partner Sham “Sak Pase” Joseph, who previously worked on “Man Down”, have made two songs for the Bajan singer, according to MTV viaAce Showbiz.

“From what I understand, she is closing the album up now, and we did two records for her that she really, really loved and I’m really excited about them as well,” he dished on. “They are records that we wrote and produced as the Jugganauts.”

Talking about the sound they crafted for RiRi, Simmonds said it’s different from the reggae-infused “Man Down”. “We always try to constantly – as producers, as artists – we try to always come with something different, a whole new sound,” he stated.

Troubled singer Chris Brown released the cover art for his upcoming mixtape titledBoy in Detention, dropping August 5th. The cover art depicts a young, brown skinned thug with a row of gold teeth and short cropped hair. It takes a minute for it to sink in that the ‘boy’ is Brown himself. But isn’t Chris Brown light skinned?

Is this artwork an example of what psychologists refer to as a ‘freudian slip’? — an expression of his unconscious desires? Does Chris Brown really wish he was black?

Rumor Control: Amy Winehouse was NOT adopting black girl

Last week, celebrity gossip blog TMZ.com broke the news that deceased singer Amy Winehouse was in the process of adopting a black island girl before she died.

According to TMZ, which seems to be borrowing from the MTO handbook ofbreaking false news first, and then fact checking, now claims a Winehouse rep denies the rumor that Winehouse was set to adopt a poor black girl from St. Lucia.
