Lakshmi Devi Photo in Bikini - Hindus Protest

Latest update regarding this issue is that, Lisa Blue Swimwear Company
has asked the entire Hindu community to forgive them for doing such a
thing unknowingly.

The company also made it clear that in the new bikinis that are sold
by the company, these type of Hindu God's images will not be used.

They will also withdraw from the market, all bikini and swim wears
that have 'Lakshmi Devi' photos in them.

Universal Society of Hinduism had earlier come up against the company
which was behind designing these controversial lingerie's.

Indian Hindus are protesting against Lisa Blue who designed bikinis,
lingeries and panties with the photos of the Goddess Lakshmi Devi in
it.

This controversy started during the Australia Fashion Week held in
Sydney when models made a ramp walk wearing bikinis.

Lisa Blue had made her designs of Hindu Goddess Lakshmy Devi in many
dresses such as swimming suits or bikinis which is considered by the
Indian Community as a insult to them.

They have asked the event management of Australia Fashion Week, Lisa
Blue and others involved to say sorry for doing such a mean and cruel
thing.

This was a very cheap thing to be done by Australian designer.

People of Australia had many times tried to harass and cause harm to
Indian students in the name of color discrimination.

Now such a move by Lisa Blue in the Australia Fashion Week is a big mistake.

This incident happened during the Lisa Blue Spring / Summer 2011
Fashion Collection show on Swimwears that was held in the Rosemount
Australian Fashion Week 2011.

It is being said that Lisa Blue was unaware of Indian sentiments to
Gods and that such a move could spark protests among people.

Lisa Blue's shows were famous because of her charity mind and her
decision to provide 25% of her profit from sales of lingerie's to
Australian Whale Conservation Society.
